Anna Louise Friel (born in London) is an English actor from England. She first achieved fame with her performance as Beth Jordache in the British soap drama Brookside before gaining the world stage when she played Charlotte Chuck Charles on ABC's Pushing Daisies for which she was awarded the Golden Globe nomination. Anna Friel's parents are Julie who is a teacher for special-needs children, and Des Friel. Des is an additional French instructor as well as the founder of an online design company.
